Section 2: Definitions

Punjab Privately Managed Recognised Aided Recruitment Benefit Schem, 2012State Rules of Punjab · 2009

ln this Scheme unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) 'Department' means the Department of Education;

(b) 'District Education Officer (Schools)' means an officer appointed as such by the Government and includes the District Education Officer (Primary);

(c) 'Form' means a Form appended to this Scheme;

(d) 'Government' means the Government of the State of Punjab in the Department of Education;

(e) 'Pay' means the amountdrawn monthly by an employee as,-

(i) pay, other than special pay or pay granted in view of his personal qualifications, which has been sanctiqled for a post held by him substantively or in an officiating capacity or to which he is entitled by reason of his position in a cadre;

(iD special pay and personal pay; and 318 PUNJAB GOVT GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 2,2012 (SRVNI 11, 1934 SAKA)

(iir) any other emoluments which may specifically be classified as pay by the Punjab Government in the case of Government employees; and -{ (D The words and expressions used in this Scheme, but not defined shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Punjab Privately Managed Recognized Schools (Security of Service)Act, 1979, rules made thereunder and the Punjab Civil Services Rules.
