(1) The members of ? of a self- i ning a requisition ma f-supporting co-operative so ciety by speci sig ) § y request the Board to call a special meeting of th ag ol bo p of - . ) eting o t e neral neo y of general body self-supporting co-operative society : ‘ B Ser upponing ‘ co-operative society provided that such a requisition shall be signed by not less than ten per cent of the members of the self-supporting co-operative society | (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Registrar may, ask the Board to call a special meeting of the gen eral body ofa self-supporting co-operative society when he dee ms necessary either suo moto or on the receipt of any complaint, which nec essitates to call for such a meeting.
(3) The requisition for calling special meet ing, shall contain the reasons asto why the special meeting of the self-supporting co-operative society is felt necessary and it shall also c ontain an agenda of the matters prop osed to be discussed in such a special me eting.
(4) The special meeting re quisitioned under sub-se ction (J) or sub- Consequences of not calling annual section (2), as the case may be, shall be called by the Boar d within a period of gp eral mee ting and thirty days from the date o f receipt of the requisition of calling such a meeting.

38. If the Board fails to call an annual general meeting under subting of general body un der subsection (1) of sect ion 36 or a specia l mee section (1) or sub-sect ion (2) of section 37 wit hin the stipulated period , all Directors shall cease t o hold their offices on t he date of expiry of the period, specified for calling such meeting.
