Section 41

The Punjab Self-Supporting Co-operative Societies Act, 2006State Act of Punjab · Act 17 of 2010

(1) The office bearers of a self-supporting co-operative society shall be elected by the Board from amongst its Directors in accordance with the provisions of bye-laws.

(2) The term of office bearers shall be co-terminus with the term of the Board.

(3) Any casual vacancy of the office bearer shall be filled in by the Board in accordance with the provisions of the bye-laws and the incumbent of the vacancy so filled, shall hold office for the remaining term of his predecessor:

(5) The resignations received under sub section (4) by the Chief pxecutive, shall be placed by him before the Board for is considerat ration in ts next meeting.

(6) The Board may accept or decline to accept the resignations placed before It.
