04.06.2002, on subject cited above. . e The |nstructmns issued vide lettér undef teférerice'are reproduced as under for 5(1482)-2002/1393 Dated ready reference- ) ¥ The Government of India; Ministry n’f“PétFfil‘e‘u’m‘find Natural Gas, New Delhi, has promulgated the Naphtha (Acquisition, sale; ~Storagé™and Prevention of Use in Automobile) Order, 2000 and solvent, Raffeinate, Slop-tAequisition, sale;’ storage: and Prevention of Use in Automobile), Order 2000. Under sub clause(1) of clause 3 of these Orders, no person shall either acquire, store and/ or sell Naptitha; Solvents, Raffeinate, $|ops or their equivalent and other products, without a licence issued by the State Government or the District Magistrate or any other officer authorized by the Central or State Government.
Further under sub-clause(1) of clause 4, powers for search and seizure have been delegated to various Central/ State Government officers for which orders have been issued separately.

In case the licencee mis-places his licence or it is destroyed, he shall:have to:report:
about it to the Licencing Authority at once who shall, on application, w;ll issue a-duplicate licence after charging an amount of Rest. 500/- from the wholesaler and Rs. 250/- frpm the retailer.
