Section 19

Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Act 1992State Act of Punjab · Act 2 of 1993

(1) The Board may, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder, set up such Committee, as may be prescribed:

Provided that the Board shall set up the following Committees, namely -

(i) Academic Committee;

(ii) Affiliation and Accreditation Committee;

(iii) Examination Committee; and

(iv) Finance Committee;

(2) The Committees shall consist of such members and of such other persons, as the Board may consider necessary or as may be prescribed.

Constitution of Committee of the Board.

(3) The term of the Committee and its members shall be such as may be prescribed.

(4) Every Committee shall submit its report to the Board for such decisions thereon, as it may consider necessary.

20. Subject to the other provisions of this Act, there shall be the following officers of the Board, namely:-

(1) the Chairman;

(2) the Secretary to the Board; and

(3) any other officer or officers, as may be notified by the Government to be the officer or officers of the Board from time to time.
