Section 3: In the said rules, in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely

"(b) "Recruiting Agency" means the Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab or the Directorate of Recruitment of the Department of School Education or any other recruiting authority as specified by the Government from time to time for the purpose of these rules;"

4. In the said rules, in rule 4, for the words “recommendations of the Board”, the words “recommendations of the Recruiting Agency” shall be substituted.
