Punjab tobacco Vends Fees Act (PTVFA) 1954 makes it mandatory for Tobacco vendors to obtain a license for selling the tobacco products.
Department of Excise and Taxation to implement it in letter and spirit and to grant licenses to exclusive Tobacco Vendors after inputs from their legal department 5 Principal Secretary, School Education or his nominee For implementation of CBSE tobacco-free school guidelines in all schools.

Implementation of COTPA in all their offices 9 Secretary Local Government or his nominee To create awareness in Municipal Corporations / Committees/ Trusts and Councils against tobacco use and strengthen the implementation of COTPA Action against tobacco vendors if they violate any section of COTPA/FSSA/PTVFA,1954 Implementation of COTPA in all their offices.

• Ensure timeliness of reporting from district level;
• Review performance indicators agreed under a collaborative framework;

Support and provide measures for involvement of other stakeholders for implementing ‘Brief Advice’.
