Section 29: Effect of prescribing a street alignment on powers of municipal committee

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Municipal Act, whenever any street alignment has been prescribed by the trust in any scheme under this Act with the sanction of the State Government the municipal committee shall not have power to prescribe a regular line for the street within the limits of the scheme, and any such line previously prescribed by the committee within such limits shall cease to be the regular line or line of frontage of the street.
