Section 10: Land to be used free of charge. 1[Section 15 (2) (g)

The Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Rules, 1964State Rules of Punjab · 1961

The Panchayat may allow the use of land in Shamilat Deh vested in it free of charge to the inhabitants of the village for any one or more of the following purposes:--

(a) Steeping of heap or any other plant in ponds;

2[(b) Residential purposes of the members of Scheduled Castes or Backward Classes or landless labourers or tenants or any other deserving person in genuirie cases on grounds of poverty.]

(c) Any other suitable common purpose.
