Section 39

The Punjab Water Resources (Management and Regulation) Act, 2020State Act of Punjab · Act 2 of 2020

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Government may by an order published in the Official Gazette remove such difficulty:

Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(2) Every order made under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made, before the State Legislature.
