Section 1: Short title, extent, application and commencement

Railway Companies (Emergency Provisions) Ordinance, 1951Ordinance · 1951

(2) This Ordinance may be called the Railway Companies (Emergency Provisions) Ordinance, 1951.

(2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

(3) It applies to every railway company in respect of which a notified order has been issued under section 3.

(4) It shall come into force at once.
