Section 19: Powers and duties of President

(1)The President shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are laid down in the Act, rules, regulation and standing orders of the Council. He shall also perform such duties as he considers necessary in the furtherance of the objects for which the Council is established.

(2) If the Office of the President is vacant or if the President for any reason is unable to exercise the powers and perform the duties of his office, the Vice-President shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President.
