Section 2: Validation of the term of extension and working of the Board

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Rajasthan District Boards Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act II of 1954) the term of the District Board, Bhim, as extended from the first day of January, 1955 to the 30th day of June, 1955 by means of Local Self Government Department Notification No. F.I (b) 1/LS.G./A/52, dated the 18th February, 1955 issued in exercise of the power conferred by Section 5 of the Ajmer Rural Boards Regulation, 1886 (VI of 1886) shall be valid and shall be deemed always to have been valid as if the District Board, Bhim were a District Board deemed to have been formed under the Rajasthan District Boards Act, 1954 (Rajasthan Act II of 1954) and as if the term thereof were extended by the aforesaid notification in exercise of the power conferred by the first proviso to Section 26 of the said Act.
