Section 63: Panel of assessors

The State Government shall constitute a panel of assessors for the purpose of assisting in the hearing of appeal. Assessors must be fully qualified mechanical engineers.

@[64. Attendance of assessors. - Where a date for an appeal before the appellate authority has been fixed, the Chief Inspector shall under the order of the appellate authority arrange for the attendance of three members, from the panel of assessors, to act as assessors.]

@[65. Costs in appeal. - (1) Where an appeal is dismissed, the appellate authority may fix the costs of the appeal.

(2) In any appeal, where a local inspection is required, the applicant shall deposit in advance the full costs of such inspection as determined by the appellate authority.]
