(1) Any person seeking permission for temporary migration of Bovine Animals under sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Act Hkkx 4 ¼x½ jktLFkku jkt&i=] flrEcj 27] 1995 119¼13½ The Rajasthan Bovine Animal (Prohibition of slaughter and regulation of temporary migration or export) rules 1995.
from the famine and scarcity affected areas of the Rajasthan to other State for grazing purposes, shall apply in “Form-1” to the Competent Authority.
(2) On receipt of application in Form-1, the Competent Authority shall examine and evaluate the circumstances necessitating the proposed migration of Bovine Animals. After satisfying about the genuineness of the request of applicant he may issue orders to the Veterinary Officer of the area to examine the health of the animals and to affix permanent identification mark over the body of migrating animals.
(3) The Veterinary Officer shall issue certificate in Form-4 and affix permanent identification mark over the body of Bovine Animal.
(4) The Competent Authority after obtaining health certificate of the Bovine animal, shall issue a permit in Form-5 allowing the animals to take out of State of Rajasthan for grazing purposes.
The period for temporary migration of Bovine Animals shall in no case extend beyond the month of August next following the date of grant of the permit.
(5) On return from the temporary migration the applicant shall inform the Competent Authority in Form-8 about the animals brought back by him together with the explanation for variations, if any.
(6) The explanation for variation in the number of Bovine Animals brought back to the State must be supported with proof.
(7) If any person does not bring back such Bovine Animals, into the State, and also within a period specified in the permit, shall be liable for punishment under the provisions of the Act.
