Section 31: Re-wind Room

The Rajasthan Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1959State Rules of Rajasthan · 2023

Re-wind room shall be separate from projection room and its minimum dimensions shall be 8 feet by 8 feet high. It shall not be used for purposes other than re- winding and storing films not in use. All films shall be stored in metal boxes:

Provided that nothing in this rule shall apply to premises duly licensed for use for cinematograph exhibition before the coming into force of these rules 2[Provided further that it will not be necessary in 'Lok-Chhavi' to have 1 Substituted by No. 3, dated 15-2-1963.

2 ~=sInserted by No. 11, dated 27-8-1982 separate rewinding room and rewinding will be permissible in the projection room itself, keeping due regard to safety."
