Section 40: Electric lighting

(1) Where electric light is reasonably available for use, no other illuminant shall be used for the purpose of the exhibition, the choking coils, switches, and fuses being installed in accordance with the instructions issued by the Electric Inspector from time to time. In any case no illuminant other than electric light or lime light shall be used for such purposes.

(2) The general lighting of the auditorium and exits shall not be controlled solely from within the enclosure.
