Section 10: Expensed for change of name of the society

The Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003State Rules of Rajasthan · 2002

(1) Where a society proposes to change its name under the provisions of section 9, it shall deposit the expenses for publication of notice as required in sub-section (1) of section 9.

(2) The expenses shall be determined by the Registrar in accordance with the prevalent rates of advertisement publication in the leading newspapers having wide circulation in the area of operation of the society. The expenses so determined shall be deposited by the society in the treasury on demand raised by the Registrar within a period of seven days. The charges of publication shall be paid from the amount so deposited.
