Section 44: State Co-operative Election Authority

The Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003State Rules of Rajasthan · 2002

(1) The Government shall appoint a Government Officer, not below the rank of an Additional Registrar of the Rajasthan State Cooperative Service as the State Co-operative Election Authority on recommendations of a committee consisting of the following :-

(i) 1[The Secretary in-charge of the Co-operative Department, Rajasthan] - Chairman

(ii) 1[The Secretary in-charge of the Department of Personnel, Rajasthan] - Member

(iii) Registrar, Co-operative Society, Rajasthan - Member Secretary

(2) The general conditions of service of the State Co-operative Election Authority, hereinafter referred to as the Authority, shall be 1 Substituted by G.S.R. 53 dated 10.7.2017, published in Raj. Gazette E.O. part 4 (x)(I) dated

10.7.2017, come into force at once.

56 regulated by the respective service rules applicable on him in his parent department.

(3) The tenure and other terms specific to the appointment of the Authority shall be as fixed by the Government from time to time on recommendations of the committee specified in sub-rule (1).

(4) The Government shall determine the strength of the officers and staff to be appointed to assist the Authority on the recommendations of the committee specified in sub-rule (1).
