Section 5: Persons eligible or allotment of Government Lands

1[(1)] The persons eligible to allotment of Government lands under these rules shall be-

(a) Landless tenants including landless tenants belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

(b) displaced agriculturists;

(c) Panchayat and Panchayat Samitis;

(d) unemployed landless agricultural graduates;

(e) released Sagris;

2[(f) Beneficiary of the Integrated Rural Development Programme.]

3[(2)The land belonging to a member of a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe which vests in the State Government under sections 175 and 176 of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 and under section 13 and 14 of the Rajasthan Colonisation Act, 1954, shall be allotted only to a member of a Scheduled Caste or a Sheduled Tribe respectively, in accordance with the provisions of these rules.
