Section 197: Prohibiting temporary injunctions by Civil Courts

No Civil Court shall in the course of any suit grant any temporary injunction or make any interim order - (a) restraining any person from exercising the powers or performing the functions or duties of a member, Chairman, Vice- Chairman, officer or servant of a Board or of a Committee of a Board on the ground that such person has not been duly elected, co-opted or appointed as such member. Chairman, Vice-Chairman, officer or servant, or (b) restraining any person or persons or any Board or Committee of a Board from holding any election or from holding any election in any particular manner
