(1) On the coming into force of this Act in any area, any of the Acts mentioned in the First Schedule or any other corresponding law in force in that area shall be repealed. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), any District Board or Committee established, and any District Fund formed, under any such Act or law shall be deemed to have been established or formed, as the case may be, in like manner and with the like authority as if it had been a District Board or Committee established or District Fund formed under this Act: Provided that the State Government shall, within a period of three years commencing from the coming into force of this Act, establish for each District a Board in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
