Section 23: Functions of the Academic Council

(1) The Academic Council shall be in charge of the academic affairs of the University and shall subject to the provisions of this Act and the 57¼60½ jktLFkku jkt&i=] Qjojh 26] 2019 Hkkx 4¼d½ 60 Statutes and Ordinances made thereunder have control over, and be responsible for the maintenance of standards of instructions, education and examinations and for the requirements for the award of degrees and diplomas.

(2) The Academic Council shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed upon it by the Statutes and shall advise the Vice-Chancellor on all academic matters.
