Section 13: Power of State Government to prohibit, import, export and transport of excisable article

The [State Government] may, by notification in the [Official Gazette]: -

(a) prohibit the import or export of any excisable article into or from the [territories to which this Act extends or any part thereof];

(b) prohibit the transport of any excisable article.
