VII DEPARTMENT No. F.2 (1) (2) Rev. 8/73 Jaipur, Dated 9th Feb. 83 ORDER In pursuance of the provision of sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Rajasthan Forests (Produce Transit) Rules, 1957, and in supersession of this departments Notifications No.F.15(3) Rev.A/ 58 dated
9.5.61 and F.2(1)(2) Rev.8/73 dated 6.10.1976, the State Government hereby authorizes the following officers to issue Transit Passes under the said rules, but subject to the conditions noted against each namely: -
1.TEHSILDAR In respect of forest produce derived from trees and other forest growth standing on Revenue lands within their territorial jurisdictions and placed under the control.
Provided that the Transit Passes shall not be issued in following cases namely: -
(a) For destinations which are not within the territorial limits of their Tehsils.
(b) Where the produce has not been proved to have been procured in accordance with the provisions of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act and the Rules framed thereunder or any other law or Government order in force; or
(c) Where the transportation of the produce is undertaken by rail or any mechanized means road transport.
2.SUB-DIVISIONAL OFFICER In respect of forest produce derived from trees and other forest growth standing on Revenue lands within their territorial jurisdictions and placed under the control.
Provided that the Transit Passes shall not be issued in following cases namely: -
(a) For destinations which are not within the territorial limits of their sub-divisions.
(b) Where the produce has not been proved to have been procured in accordance with the provisions of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act and the Rules framed thereunder or any other law or Government order in force; or
(c) Where the transportation of the produce is undertaken by rail or any mechanized means road transport except by tractor trolleys.

3.COLLECTORS In respect of forest produce derived from trees and other forest growth standing on Revenue lands within their territorial jurisdictions and control for destination within the state by any means of transportation including trucks and rail, in consultation with the Divisional Forest Officers concerned;
Provided that the Transit Passes shall not be issued where the produce has not been proved to have been procured in accordance with the provisions of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act and the Rules framed thereunder or any other law or Government order in force
4. RANGERS In respect of the produce of the forest within their jurisdictions for destination within Forest Division in which they are serving;
Provided that the Transit Passes are issued in conformity with the administrative instructions issued by the Government or the Chief Conservator of Forests in this behalf, and transportation of the produce is not undertaken by rail or by any mechanized means of transport.
5. ASSISTANT CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS In respect of the produce of the forest within their jurisdictions for destination within Forest Division in which they are serving;
Provided that the Transit Passes are issued in conformity with the administrative instructions issued by the Government or the Chief Conservator of Forests in this behalf, and transportation of the produce is not undertaken by rail or by any mechanized means of transport except upto one truck load by mechanized means of transport to destinations within the Forest Division in which they are serving.
6.DIVISIONAL FOREST OFFICER FORESTS In all cases, except to destination outside the State.
Provided that the Transit Passes are issued in conformity with administrative instructions issued by the Government or the Chief Conservator of forest in this behalf.
7.CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS In all cases, including destination outside the state.
