Section 62: Punishment for wrongful seizure

The Rajasthan Forest Act, 1953State Act of Rajasthan · Act 13 of 1953

Any Forest Officer or Police Officer who vexatiously and unnecessarily seizes any property on pretence of seizing property liable to confiscation under this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to 4 [ten thousand rupees] or with both.
