Section 11A: Monitoring Committee

The Rajasthan Forest Produce (Establishment & Regulation of Saw Mills) Rules, 1983State Rules of Rajasthan · 1953

There shall be a Monitoring Committee consisting of the following to monitor the Saw Mills in a District: -

(i) District Collector Chairman

(ii)Zila Pramukh/ Chairman,Municipal Council/ Chairman, Municipality Member

(iii) Superintendent of Police/Addl. Superintendent of Police Member

(iv) S.E./Ex.En., R.R.V.P.N. Ltd. Member

(v) District Industries Officer Member

(vi) Sr. Inspector of Factories and Boilers. Member

(vii) Dy. Conservator of Forests Member Secretary This monitoring committee shall assess the exact requirement of saw mills on the basis of forest resources available in the district and take effective steps to stop saw mills operating in illegal manner by reviewing the situation in every quarter of the year.]
