Section 12: Change of District by [Registered Offender

Where a [Registered offender] whose name is entered in the register changes his residence permanently by going to reside in another district, an intimation thereof in form No. 5 shall be sent to the Superintendent of Police of the new district by the Superintendent of Police of the district in which his name has been registered. The Superintendent of Police of the new district shall take steps to get the name of such [Registered Offender] added in the register of his district, following the procedure prescribed by the rule 10. An intimation shall also be sent to the finger print bureau in form No. 6.
