(1) Any [registered offender] placed in a [corrective settlement] who commits a contravention of these rules or any pass issued thereunder or refuses to obey any reasonable order given by the [corrective settlement] Manager or endeavours to escape from the [corrective settlement], shall, without prejudice to the provisions of section 10 of the Act, be liable to any one or any more of the following penalties, to be inflicted by the [corrective settlement] Manager.
(a) a formal warning;
(b) additional or more ordos work;
(c) reduced wages or loss of wages for work done;
(d) with holding or cancellation of leave of absence or leave from work, granted or about to be granted.
(2) No punishment shall be inflicted under this rule without giving the [registered offender] concerned a reasonable opportunity of hearing.
(3) All orders of punishment passed under sub-rule (1) by the [corrective settlement] Manager shall be liable to revision by the District Magistrate.
