Section 19: Publication of draft scheme

(1) When the draft scheme of consolidation is ready for publication, the consolidation officer shall publish it in the prescribed manner in the area concerned. Any person likely to be affected by such scheme shall, either individually or collectively, within forty five days of the date of such publication communicate in writing to the Consolidation Officer any objections relating to the scheme. The Consolidation Officer shall, after considering the objections, if any, received submit the scheme with such amendments, as he considers to be necessary together with his remarks on the objections to the Settlement Officer (Consolidation). (2) The Consolidation Officer shall also publish in the prescribed manner, the scheme as amended by him.
