Officers and other members of the Home Guards shall be entitled to receive such allowances and at such rates as the State Government may from time to time determine.

Mess Allowance to Home Guards Personnel.- Rates revised w.e.f. 1.9.1980.

Sub :- Grant of Mess Allowance to Home Guards Personnel.

G.S.R. 111.- The Governor has been pleased to order that the existing rates of Mess Allowance admissible to the following category of employees of the Home Guards who are members of mess may be revised with effect from 1.9.1980 as under irrespective of number of diets they take in the mess :- Mess Allowance per Month.

1. Border Home Guards Rs. 60/-

2. Urban and Rural Home Guards Rs. 52/-

2. The mess allowance at the aforesaid rate shall not be admissible during the period of training.

3. The payment of mess allowance shall be regulated on the basis of Mess Allowance Rules applicable to Police Personnel in the Police Department.
