Section 5: Chairman and Vice-Chairman

The Rajasthan Homoeopathic Medicine Act, 1969State Act of Rajasthan · Act 1 of 1970

The Chairman of the Board shall be nominated by the State Government from amongst the members of the Board and the Vice-Chairman shall be elected in the prescribed manner by such members from amongst themselves. The Chairman shall also be entitled to vote at the election of the Vice-Chairman:

2[Provided that if the Chairman of the Board nominated by the State Government is not a registered Homoeopath, having a recognised medical qualification, the Vice-Chairman shall be elected from those members of the Board, who are registered Homoeopaths and possess recognised medical qualifications].
