The Vice- Chancellor, the Registrar, the Comptroller, the Deans, the Directors as specified by the Statutes and other employees of the University shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act No. 45 of 1860).
