Section 24: Objection to construction or transfer applied for

The Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954State Act of Rajasthan · Act 21 of 1954

(1) Within thirty days from the publication of a notice under section 22 or section 23, as the case maybe, any person interested in the land or water course to which the notice, refers, may apply to the Collector by petition, stating his objection to the construction or transfer for which application has been made.

(2) The Collector may either reject the petition or may proceed to inquire into the validity of the objection giving previous notice to the Divisional Irrigation Officer of the place and time at which such inquiry will be held.

(3) The Collector shall record in writing all orders passed by him under this section and the grounds thereof.
