The State Government may, by notification, specify that any public welfare benefit, whenever such benefits are in the nature of cash shall, after authentication, be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary, and in case the public welfare benefits pertain to a family, to the bank account of the head of the family, in such manner, as may be prescribed.
