Section 32: A dm ission

The Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur Act,2009State Act of Rajasthan · Act 6 of 2009

(1) Adm ission in the University shall be m ade strictly on the basis o f merit.

(2) M erit for admission in the University may be determ ined either on the basis o f m arks or grade obtained in the qualifying exam ination and achievements in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities or on the basis o f mark or grade obtained in the entrance test conducted at the State level either by an association o f the universities conducting sim ilar courses or by any agency o f the State;

Provided that admission in professional and technical courses shall be made only through entrance test.

(3) Reservation in admission to the University for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, women and handicapped person shall be provided as per the policy for the State Government.
