Section 33: Submission of programme of activities and financial estimates

(1) The corporation shall, before the commencement of each accounting year, prepare a statement of programme of its activities during the forthcoming accounting year as well as a financial estimate in respect thereof. (2) The statement and the estimate prepared under sub-section (1) shall be submitted for approval to the State Government not later than three months before the commencement of each and returned to the corporation atleast one month before the commencement of the accounting year. (3) The corporation may, with the approval of the State Government, revise or modify the statement and estimate referred to in sub-section (1). (4) The periods specified herein for preparation of statement of programme and financial estimate and approval thereof may be extended by the State Government for proper cause.
