Section 2: Definitions

The Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allotment of Land for Digging of Wells and Installing of Pumping Sets for Irrigation Purposes) Rules, 1979State Rules of Rajasthan · 1956

In these rules, unless there is anything to the contrary in the subject of context-

(a) "Act" means the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act. 1956.

(b) "Collector" means the Collector of the District in which the land is situated.

(c) "Form" means a form appended to these rules.

(d) "Government" means the Government of Rajasthan.

(e) Words and expressions used, but not defined in these rules, shall have the same meaning as is assigned to them in the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 or in the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956.
