Section 71: Soil Class

(i) In this column the soil class of each Khasra number shall be entered. If there is One class of soil, the area need not be entered, as it will correspond with the area in column 2. In case there are more than one class of soils, in the same number, each class of soil shall be entered along with the area covered by it. In this case the total of the area of different soil classes shall be equivalent to the area entered in column 2.

(ii) If a plot is unoccupied, the words "grove", "Big-tree Forest", "Scrub Forest" "Grass land or Bir", "Under water", "hill rock", "occupied by buildings, roads" etc., and particulars of unculturable wastes viz. Usar, Khadda etc. shall be, as the case may be, entered in this column, below the area entry.
