Section 23: Penalty for contravention of rules

The Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011State Rules of Rajasthan · 2009

Whoever contravenes any provision of these rules, for the contravention of which no punishment has been separately provided in the Act, shall be punished with fine, which may extend to five thousand rupees. Whenever rules are in conflict with the provisions of the Act, the Act shall prevail the over the rules.
