Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan T.epislative Assembly (Officers anq Members Fmoluments) (Second Amcndmcnt) Act, 1965.

(2) Tt shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1965.

9. Amerdment of section 3, Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957.— Tn section 3 of the Rajasthan Tegislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments) Act. 1956 (Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957), hercinafter referred to as the principal Act,— {a) in clause (a), for the words “one thous md rupees”, the words “one thousand two hundred and fifty rupees” shall be substituted; and () in clause (b), for the words “eight hundred rupees”. the words “one thousand rupees” shall be substituted.

3. Insertion of new section 3A in Rajasthan Act 6 of 1957 —After section 3 of the principal Act, the following new section shall be inserted, namely:— :

wg A Sumptuary allowance—There shall be paid, in addition to the salary payable under clause (a) of section

Insertion of new section 44 in Rajasthan Act 8 of 1957.—After section 4 of the principal Act, the following new gection shall be inserted, namely:— =% w4A. Consolidated allowance.—There sKall Ge paid - to each member during the whole of his term of office sum of one hundred rupees per month as a consolidated allowance for all matters not specifically provided for, by or under the provisions of this Act.”.
