(1) It shall be the duty of the Chairperson of the Board to ensure the strict observance of provisions of this Act and the rules thereof. (2) The Chairperson shall be responsible for carrying out, and giving effect to, the decisions of the Board and of any Committee constituted under this Act. (3) The Chairperson shall exercise general supervision over the Secretary and the other officers and employees appointed by the Board. (4) The Chairperson of the Board shall exercise such other powers and discharge such other duties as may be prescribed.
