Section 17: The Dean of Faculty

The Manipal University, Jaipur Act, 2011State Act of Rajasthan · Act 21 of 2011

(1) There shall be a Dean of each faculty who shall be appointed by the President for a period of three years in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statues.

(2) The Dean shall convene meetings of the faculty, as and when required, in consultation with the President and shall preside over the same. He shall formulate the policies and development programme of the faculty and present the same to the appropriate authorities for their consideration.

(3) The Dean of the Faculty shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be made by the Statutes.
