Section 50: Book numbering and paging

All the registers and books of forms shall be numbered with serial numbers or page numbers as the case may be and the necessary certificates shall be recorded by a responsible officer at the conspicuous place.

In the case of receipts, tickets, licence etc. by means of which the Municipal dues are collected the entry in columns 4 and 8 of the stock book (form 10) shall clearly indicate the printed book number of the books received and issued in order to keep a complete check on their use. The books shall be issued in serial order after being stamped with the common seal of the Board. This seal shall be kept in the custody of the Incharge stores.
