Whenever it is provided in the Act that steps may be taken for the effectual drainage of any premises, the Municipality may require that there shall be one drain for offensive matter and sewage and another drain for rain-water and unpolluted sub-soil water, each emptying into separate, municipal drains or other places set apart by the Municipality for the discharge of drainage or into other suitable places.
