Section 261: Bathing Places

(1) The Municipality may set apart sufficient public places for the purpose of being used as bathing places and may also provide or set apart a sufficient number of convenient tanks or runs of water for the inhabitant to bathe in; and mayalso set apart tanks or reservoirs or runs of water for washing animals or clothes and for all purposes connected with the health, cleanliness and comfort of the inhabitants, and may prohibit the use for any purpose mentioned in this Section of any or all other public places within the Municipality.

(2) Copies of all orders passed and notices issued by the Municipality and for the time being in force under this Section shall be kept at the municipal office and shall be open for inspection by the public at all reasonable times.
