(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Chairman" means the Chairman of a Committee,
(b) "Meeting" means a meeting of a Committee,
(c) "Member" means a member of a Committee,
(d) "Presiding member" means the Chairman or any other member who is chosen to preside over a meeting and in the case of a joint meeting of the Committees, it shall mean Chairman, Vice- Chairman or any member, as the case may be who is chosen to preside over the joint meeting,
(e) "Committee" means the Committee constituted under sub-section (5) of section 73 and includes Committee constituted under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 73 of the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 1959,
(f) "State Government" means the Government of Rajasthan,
(g) "Vice-Chairman" means the Vice-Chairman of a Board and includes Vice-President of a Municipal Council,
(h) "Executive Officer" includes the Commissioner of a Municipal Council or Corporation who holds post of Commissioner (Headquarter) or any other Commissioner to whom such powers have been delegated by the Board for the purpose of these rules.
(2) Words used but not defined in these rules shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Act.
