Section 60: Admission of the place fixed for counting

The Rajasthan Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1994State Rules of Rajasthan · 2009

(1) The returning officer shall exclude from the place fixed for counting of votes all persons except:-

(a) counting supervisors and counting assistants.

(b) persons authorized by the State Election Commission.

(c) public servants on duty in connection with the election.

(d) candidates, their election agents and not more than one counting agent per counting table.

(2) Any person who during the counting of votes misconducts himself or fails to obey the lawful directions of the returning officer may be removed from the place where the votes are being counted by the returning officer or any person or any police officer authorised in this behalf by the returning officer.
