Section 88: Preparation of record of proceeding and publication of result of election

The Rajasthan Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1994State Rules of Rajasthan · 2009

Immediately after the declaration of the result, the Returning Officer shall:-

(a) prepare a record of the proceeding in the form prescribed in Schedule-VIII.

(b) publish on the notice board of the municipality a notification signed by him stating the name of the person elected as Chairman and send a copy of such notification ( i) the State Election Commission for publication in the Official Gazette;

(ii) the District Collector concerned;

(iii) the Director of Local Bodies, Rajasthan, Jaipur; and

(iv) the State Government.
