(1) Accounts -
(a) Complete and detailed individual employee-wise accounts shall be maintained by the institution. The institution shall make available to the Director, Local Fund Audit Department or any Officer authorised by him in this behalf all the information required by him in the form and manner, as prescribed by him from time to time.
(b) It shall be incumbent on the Secretary of the institution to reconcile the account with the accounts being maintained by 147 Raj. Non-Govt. Educational Institutions Rules, 1993 the Direcctor, Local Pund Audit Deptt. as also from the Treasury/Sub-Trcasury, at thecnd of financial ycar..
(2) Audit R.82
(a) The account shall be open for audit by the Dircctor, Local Fund Audit Department or any other authority as may bc authorised by the State Government from time to time.
(b) The Secretary of the Managing Committee shall remove or cause to be removed the discrepancies pointed out by the Audit Oficer in his report and shall submit its compliance report within a pe iod of two months from the date of receipt of the report.

82. Gratuity and Insurance,- (1) The employees of the Aided educational institutions shall be entitled to Gratuity as admissible under Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972as amended fromn time to time.
(2)The managing committee shall arrange for Group Insurance of its employees under the respective scheme of Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Rule 82 - Applicability of provision - Institution not receiving any aid from Govt. - Provisions of Secs. 2(p) and 2 (g) are applicable to both aided and non-aided institutions - Gratuity benefit arising from past service and payable after retirement - No interference is required in the orders. Entitlement for Grauity - Concerned employee had already reached the age of superannuation on 04.07.1992 and further two years extension was given after receiving due approval by the State government - It is not a case of re-employment The employee has to be treated in continuous service till
04.07.1994 when he finally stood retired - Since the Act of 1989 as also the Rules of 1993 had already come into force, the concerned employee was entitled for the Gratuity - No error or illegality in the orders.
